Objective: To know the nature of the relationship between leadership committed to its dimensions (psychological commitment, behavioral commitment) and organizational citizenship behavior with its dimensions (altruism, conscience, sportsmanship, courtesy, civic virtue).Design / Methodology: The study was conducted at the University of Kufa on a sample of (99) respondents, including leaders at the University of Kufa, where it was relied on (Baggetta, et al, 2013) to measure the dimensions of committed leadership, and on (Habeeb, 2019) to measure the dimensions of citizenship behavior The study also used the questionnaire as a main tool for data collection and processing through a set of statistical methods, including (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, path factor) and extracting the results using the computer program (Smart PLS).Results: There is a significant effect relationship between committed leadership and organizational citizenship behavior, which indicates that the presence of committed leadership within the organization in question is necessary because committed leadership helps to enhance the performance of working individuals and create a work environment characterized by cooperation and participation.
