The metaphor of thinking of organizations as a brain compares the organization to a set of functions that process and even learn information over the long term as the brain does. This metaphor appeals to collective intelligence, such as different departments in an organization working together to produce a single product. The organized wisdom of different employees and management is used to create a learning organization with the practical knowledge of the employees and the experience of the management. This study provides a brief theoretical understanding of the organization-as-brain metaphor, holographic organizations, and the principle of the whole into the parts. The study also has been focused on the processes of the organizations, such as the implementation of the principle of the whole into the parts, organizational DNA and holistic leaders.
