Abstract: The clinical presentation of metabolic liver disease is highly variable, covering acute liver failure, liver cirrhosis, hepatic cancer and various extrahepatic manifestations. Both natural course and prognosis after liver transplantation are substantially influenced by extrahepatic manifestations.
