Abstract:Uraria prunellifolia and U. paniculata are medicinally important, and rare in occurrence. The former is believed to be extinct in some parts of India, and the latter was recently rediscovered. The nomenclatural history of U. prunellifolia and U. paniculata is discussed here, and both the names are typified.
