Abstract:Objective: Myxomas are uncommon in the pediatric age group. However, acute cerebral infarcts in children are most often secondary to a myxoma. Early diagnosis is essential in such cases to prevent further such episodes, thereby decreasing the risk of permanent neurological deficits.
