Legal and ethical requirements for research with minors.

Abstract: In this chapter, minors are defined as "children" in federal regulations, inclusive of infants, children, and adolescents who have not reached the legal age for consent (i.e., birth-17 years). When referring to a specific age period, that specific terminology is used in this chapter.
