Legal Protection for Consumers against the Distribution of Illegal Cosmetics in Online Stores (E-Commerce) in terms of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health

Abstract

Cosmetics are one of the beauty products that are currently in demand among women in Indonesia. In fact, this business never dims at any time, cosmetics have now become one of the basic needs for women and do not rule out the possibility of being used by men. The aim of this research is to find out what kind of protection or legal umbrella is able to protect consumers from the distribution of illegal cosmetics and ensnare the dealers. This research uses normative research methods with a statutory and conceptual approach. The data source used in this research is Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health as well as other research relevant to this research.
