Legitimacy and Reciprocal Altruism in Donation-Based Crowdfunding: Evidence from India

Abstract: The donation-based crowdfunding platforms witness a mix of different entities seeking funding for numerous campaigns, adding complexities in understanding the donor behavior and factors that motivate donation.
