Abstract: Background Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) of vascular origin is a rare entity of soft tissue sarcomas. Although they arise mostly from retroperitoneal major vascular structures, some encountered cases may arise from the smaller vascular structures of the thigh as the femoral vein.
