Lemon-peel pectin. II. Isolation of homogeneous pectins and examination of some associated polysaccharides

Abstract: Two electrophoretically homogeneous pectins have been isolated from dried lemon-peel under conditions of minimum degradation by extraction with cold water and with disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate.
