Abstract

Leon Chajn's viewpoints on judiciary Leon Chajn is one of the key fi gures who had impact on creating the postwar judicature. Bearing fi rst the function of Deputy Head in the Department of Justice and then Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Justice, he decided on the course of the most signifi cant changes in the functioning of the judiciary and in the assignment of positions in ministries and courts. In the article, the authors examine in depth the viewpoints of Chajn based on his publications, journals and speeches before the congresses of the Alliance of Democrats.
