Abstract:Leriche Syndrome is the thrombotic obliteration of the aortic bifurcation. According to Aorto-iliac Occlusive Disease (AIOD) classification by the Trans Atlantic Inter-Society Consensus (TASC II), Leriche Syndrome belongs to type D lesions, for which surgery is the treatment of choice.
