Abstract: Résumé Nous proposons, en nous appuyant sur les résultats des deux dernières enquêtes « Pratiques culturelles des Français » (1989, 1997) de faire une présentation des univers culturels repérables à l’échelle de la population française, avant de nous interroger sur l’hybridation de la culture légitime.
