Background: A large number of idiosyncratic drug induced liver injury (iDILI) and herb induced liver injury(HILI) cases of variable quality has been published but some are a matter of concern if the cases were not evaluated for causality using a robust causality assessment method (CAM) such as RUCAM (Roussel Uclaf Causality Assessment Method) as diagnostiinjuryc algorithm. The purpose of this analysis was to evaluate the worldwide use of RUCAM in iDILI and HILI cases. Methods: The PubMed database (1993–30 June 2020) was searched for articles by using the following key terms: Roussel Uclaf Causality Assessment Method; RUCAM; Idiosyncratic drug induced liver injury; iDILI; Herb induced liver injury; HILI. Results: Considering reports published worldwide since 1993, our analysis showed the use of RUCAM for causality assessment in 95,885 cases of liver injury including 81,856 cases of idiosyncratic DILI and 14,029 cases of HILI. Among the top countries providing RUCAM based DILI cases were, in decreasing order, China, the US, Germany, Korea, and Italy, with China, Korea, Germany, India, and the US as the top countries for HILI. Conclusion: Since 1993 RUCAM is certainly the most widely used method to assess causality in IDILI and HILI. This should encourage practitioner, experts, and regulatory agencies to use it in order to reinforce their diagnosis and to take sound decisions.

Introduction: Anger is the most significant emotional state, expressing it will hurt others and not expressing it will hurt ourselves. A wide range of psychological and physical issues were frequently observed in angered persons. Based on pilot study, Ranunculaceae family in the plant kingdom has the highest mark in expressing the anger. Aim and Objectives:The main aim of this study is to understand the causation, shades, types and way of expression of anger in drugs belonging to the Ranunculaceae family. Methods: A sample of 60 cases, prescribed with remedies from Ranunculaceae family which have shown improvement in symptomatology were selected using non-random purposive sampling method. They were analysed with case concept form which allows the exploration of causation, shades and characteristic expressions of anger. Results: Analysing the 60 cases, the most common cause of anger in the Ranunculaceae family arise from the state where others don't listen to her words and opinion. The most common shade of anger is Irritable, which enlisted in the cases, followed by shade suppression were seen. The most common way of expressing anger is that they used to keep quiet during anger are observed in the cases of Ranunculaceae family prescribed medicines. Conclusion: Causation, shades and characteristic expression of anger in Ranunculaceae family were obtained in the study. Irritable is the highest shade of anger that arises when people don't listen to their words and opinions, and their way of expressing themselves is to keep quiet.

The genus Ranunculus includes approximately 600 species and is distributed worldwide. To date, several researchers have investigated the chemical and biological activities of Ranunculus species, and my research team has found them to have antimalarial effects. This review is based on the available information on the traditional uses and pharmacological studies of Ranunculus species. The present paper covers online literature, particularly from 2010 to 2021, and books on the ethnopharmacology and botany of Ranunculus species. Previous studies on the biological activity of crude or purified compounds from Ranunculus species, including R. sceleratus Linn., R. japonicus Thunb., R. muricatus Linn., R. ternatus Thunb., R. arvensis Linn., R. diffusus DC., R. sardous Crantz, R. ficaria Linn., R. hyperboreus Rotlb., and R. pedatus Waldst. & Kit., have provided new insights into their activities, such as antibacterial and antiprotozoal effects as well as antioxidant, immunomodulatory, and anticarcinogenic properties. In addition, the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of plants used in traditional medicine applications have been confirmed. Therefore, there is a need for more diverse studies on the chemical and pharmacological activities of highly purified molecules from Ranunculus species extracts to understand the mechanisms underlying their activities and identify novel drug candidates.
