“…To fill this information gap and gain an understanding of effective policies that countries rolled out to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the COVID-19 Health System Response Monitor (HSRM) was developed by the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, World Health Organisation Regional Office for Europe (WHO/Europe), and European Commission, to cover 50 countries' health systems and policy responses, primarily those in the WHO European Region (5).
