Let's not forget nocturnal blood pressure: SBP is the most strong predictor of CVD

Abstract

To the Editor, We have read with great interest the recent work about an interactive technology-enhanced coaching intervention for Black women with hypertension (Abel & DeHaven., 2021). First of all, we would like to congratulate the authors on this study, and secondly, we would like to make some comments to make known some important aspects of hypertension. Thus in a recent systematic review, the use of apps to support the self-management of hypertension are accepted by patients and could assist in lowering and controlling their Blood Pressure (BP) (Alessa et al., 2018).
