Levels of Processing and Producing Conventional Metaphors by English Foreign Language Learners in Written Language

Abstract: This study attempts to investigate EFL learners' ability to process and produce metaphorical expressions in English and whether these expressions are conceptualized in their mother tongue, Arabic.
