Abstract:A solid-state reaction was performed to create Li1/2Y1/2Cu3Ti4O12, a ceramic
with a very high dielectric constant. The crystal structure of the
ceramic samples belongs to the Im3 space group. Impurity
phases such as CuO and TiO2 have been identified. A dielectric
constant of approximately 4.70–5.00 × 103 and
a low loss tangent of 0.091–0.126 were obtained from our sintered
Li1/2Y1/2Cu3Ti4O12 (LYCTO) ceramics. Impedance spectroscopy results showed the ceramic
microstructure to be electrically heterogeneous. Fro… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
