This bibliographic search, funded by the Division of Psychology and Law (#41) of the American Psychological Association, was compiled by a computer search using the Psyc Info data base, and includes all citations read into computer memory between January 1, 1973 and December 2l, 1982. It represents that subset of the literature which is indexed under the term "Professional Licensing."The reader is cautioned that the listing is limited due to the scope of the materials that the data base reviews. It is intended to specifically identify the writings of psychologists on professional licensing to the scientists in other disciplines who work in this area, and when considered in conjunction with the articles in this special issue, encourage psychologists to more actively engage in research on this topic.
