Lifetime measurements and particle-rotor calculations for 42 105 Mo63

Abstract: Abstract. The half-lives of seven levels in ~~ have been determined with high precision at the fission-product separator Josef. The fl-7-7 triple coincidence method with plastic and BaF 2 scintillators was used for a determination of the time between the/~-feeding of a level of interest and its 7 depopulation. A value of r = 0.38 (1)

“…The 246.9 keV level is the favored candidate for the state with the 3/2 + ͓411͔ configuration suggested by Lhersonneau et al [39] based on the systematic study of the levels in the 101 Sr, 103 Zr, and 105 Mo isotones. This also is assumed by Liang et al [40]. The population of these two excited states were observed in the present work.…”

“…Also, in a number of Ru and Mo isotopes, side-bands have been studied [9,14,[21][22][23]. High-spin states in odd-A nuclei have been found in 101 Sr [24], 101 Zr [25], 103 Zr [26], 101 Nb [27], 103 Nb [28], 103 Mo [29], 105 Mo [30], 103 Rh [31], and 109,111 Ru [32]. For the heavy Sr isotopes, spectroscopic studies [33,34] are still in a preliminary stage, and practically nothing is known on the neighboring Kr and Se nuclei.…”
