Light-weight Design of Tower Crane Boom Structure Based on Multi-objective Optimization

Abstract: A finite element model of QTZ5010 tower arm is established by using ANSYS parameter design language (APDL), through static simulation, the stress and strain distribution and its strength and stiffness margin is obtained. With the cross sectional dimensions as the design variables and stress and strain of boom under extreme working conditions as restrain conditions, the mathematical optimization model is established.
