Abstract:Strains of gasteroid fungi are capable of oxidizing phenolic components and producing enzymes of great commercial value. However, the difficulty in producing biomass and, consequently, the low levels of expression of enzymes produced by these fungi hinder the advancement of biotechnological studies.
