Linear and Non Linear Optical Activities of Metal - Organic Cadmium Thiosemicarbazide Bromide Single Crystals
Abstract:Cadmium thiosemicarbazide bromide [Cd (CN3H5S) Br2], a metal-organic non-linear optical crystal was grown by slow evaporation (solution growth) method at room temperature. The grown crystals were analyzed by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) in order to identify the crystalline mode of the compound .The transparent attribute of crystal was determined by UV-VIS method. The Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) analysed by Nd-YAG Laser confirmed the NLO property of the grown crystal.
