Linguistic Ethnographic Investigation of Face Negotiations in Interaction

Abstract: This article focuses on face negotiation as an interaction management strategy in teacher-student interactions. The article viewed both linguistic and non-linguistic items as crucial components of face construction and meaning in interaction.
