Linking the Physicochemical Properties of Calcined Titania Nanoparticles with Their Biocidal Activity

Abstract: Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (nTiO 2) show biocidal activity when exposed to UV illumination. Modification of their physical properties can expand their photoresponse region toward visible light.
