LipidII‐DegradingM‐Class Bacteriocins

Abstract: Lipid II ‐degrading M‐class bacteriocins are protein antibiotics that kill a narrow spectrum of bacterial strains through cleavage of lipid II , thereby leading to an arrest of cell wall synthesis and cell lysis.
