Abstract: Background Herbal cake-separated moxibustion (HM) is one of the characteristic therapies for the prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia (HLP). However, the effect of HM on plasma lipid metabolism in HLP rabbits is not clear. Methods New Zealand rabbits were fed with high-fat diet for 8 weeks to induce HLP model, and then HM was intervened for 8 weeks.
