Abstract: The role of lipoprotein (a) [Lp(a)] in cerebrovascular disease is a topic of importance. In this narrative review, pertinent studies have been leveraged to comprehensively examine this relationship from diverse perspectives. Lp(a) shares structural traits with low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.
