This work presents UV spectroscopy-based UDCA development and validation. For the estimation of ursodeoxycholic, a quick, accurate, and affordable UV-spectroscopic approach has been established. Ursodeoxycholic acid was discovered to have an absorption maximum in methanol of 205nm. With a correlation coefficient of 0.983, the medication exhibits linear behaviour in the concentration ranges of 2 – 10g/ml at 205 nm. The recovery experiment, which was carried out at three levels of 80%, 100%, and 120%, was used to evaluate the method's accuracy. The percent recovery was discovered to be between 90% and 120%. Low percentages of RSD are a sign of a method's accuracy and reproducibility. The %RSD 2 shows that the procedure is accurate. Less than 2% was robust and rugged, which is in-acceptable range3.
