Liquid Contact Ion Selective Electrode Green Method for the Determination of Flavoxate HCl Main Active Metabolite in Pure Powder and Human Urine with Establishment of Urinary Excretion Pattern
Abstract:The main aim of this work is to develop the first liquid contact ion selective electrode potentiometric method for determination of flavoxate HCl main metabolite; 3-methylflavone-8-carboxylic acid (MFC). The method can be used for studying flavoxate HCl bioavailability through tracing its active metabolite; MFC, excreted in human urine. The metabolite was determined in pure powder and in human urine with establishment of urinary excretion pattern without any sample extraction or pretreatment procedures. The su… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
