Liquid-liquid equilibria for the systems perfluorodecalin + heptane + 1-hexene, perfluorodecalin + 1-henexe + hexane, and perfluorodecalin + heptane + 1-hexene + hexane

Abstract: Liquid-liquid equlllbrla for the quaternary system perfiuorodecalln + heptane + 1-hexene + hexane at 288.15 and 298.15 K and for the ternary systems perfluorodecalin + heptane + 1-hexene at 288.15, 298.15, and 303.15 K and perfluorodecalin + I-hexene + hexane at 288.15 and 298.15 K are reported. The experimental results are compared with values predicted from the NRTL, the UNIQUAC and the UNIFAC models.

“…The system is characterized by a small value of the coefficient of the relative volatility of the mixture components in the entire concentration range, and the value of their boiling point T b corresponds to the following series: T normalb 12DE ( T b MBCN < T b trans‐PFD < T b BCH < T b cis‐PFD ) A lot of research studies (refs and to name a few) are devoted to determining the density of PFD solutions and their gas-absorbing properties. Data on the liquid–liquid phase equilibrium of alkanes and alkenes C 6 –C 7 in PFD are given . The isothermal phase equilibrium data for the binary mixture of PFD and tetrafluoromethane are presented .…”
