Abstract:The extraction of tungsten (VI) from hydrochloric acid solutions by trioctyl phosphine oxide (TOPO) and dihexyl sulphoxide (DHSO, R 2 SO) in benzene was investigated under various conditions. The organic extracts were examined by infrared spectrophotometry.
