Abstract:Oil fly ash (OFA) contains environmentally toxic heavy metal and substituted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. This review discusses the physical and chemical properties of OFA and presents information from other types of fly ash that can be used as concepts for the remediation and uses of OFA.
