Abstract:Volcanic eruptions are unpredictable phenomena that pose a challenge to crisis management, owing to the fact that contrasted eruptive styles (explosive versus effusive) exhibited at the surface depend on unobservable deep processes occurring in the reservoir and the volcanic conduit.
