Abstract:The ultra-deep offshore, eastern Niger Delta is marked by rapid, cyclic deposition of thick units of siliciclastic sediments ranging from deep marine to non-marine environments, deposited into rapidly subsiding sub-basins occurring along the slope of the continental margin.
