LLCEDATA and LLCECALC for Windows version 1.0, Volume 2: Technical manual

Abstract: LLCEDATA and LLCECALC for windows' are user-friendly computer software programs that work together to determine the proper waste designation, handling, and disposition requirements for Long-Length Contaminated Equipment (LLCE). LLCEDATA reads from a variety of databases to produce an equipment data file (€ 0 9 that represents a "snapshot" of both the LLCE and the tank from which it originates. LLCECALC reads the EDF and the gamma assay (AVZ) file that is produced by the Flexible Receiver Gamma Energy Analysis … Show more

“…PERMANOVA post-hoc pairwise tests were conducted on significant factors. To visualize the role of fish species and trophic category in driving differences in fish biomass among habitats, Principal Coordinate Analyses (PCO) were computed (Anderson et al, 2009). Pearson correlation was used to assess potential relationships between habitat structural complexity, fish abundance, fish biomass and Shannon´s diversity Index among habitats.…”

“…Pearson correlation was used to assess potential relationships between habitat structural complexity, fish abundance, fish biomass and Shannon´s diversity Index among habitats. All statistical analyses were performed using PRIMER v6 statistical software with add-in PERMANOVA (Anderson et al, 2009).…”

“…The expected source term, Table B2-1, is derived from a mixture consisting of these isotopes in the same proportions as the maximum concentrations of each isotope from all containers. This mixture is then decayed 3 years using the computer program Radcalc for Windows' version 2.01 (McFadden et al 1998). This decay time corresponds to the amount of time since the shipments were made and allows sufficient time to build in concentrations of the prominent daughter products.…”

“…The values for the heat production factor and specific activity were taken from Radcalc's (McFadden et al 1998) data library. The limits, given in Part B, Section 2.1.2, are reiterated below for convenience: 1410 W total thermal generation 200 g total fissile mass for the fissile isotopes as defined in 49 CFR 173.403 500,000 Ci total activity including activities of any daughter products Shielding limits of 10 mSvh (1000 mremih) at 1 m (HAC) and 10 mSvh (1000 mredh) at contact, 0.1 mSvh (10 mremh) at 2 m, and 0.02-5 mSvh (2-5 mredh) at the driver location (NCT) 1700 cm3/h hydrogen gas generation rate.…”
