LncRNA ITGB2-AS1 Could Promote the Migration and Invasion of Breast Cancer Cells through Up-Regulating ITGB2

Abstract: In the previous study, we screened a novel lncRNA-ITGB2-AS1, which was down-regulated by bone morphogenetic protein 9 (BMP9) in breast cancer cell. Studying ITGB2-AS1 will lay the foundation for the exploring mechanism of the BMP9 inhibitory effect on breast cancer. The expression analysis related to ITGB2-AS1 in clinical samples was conducted on online websites. The overexpression plasmid or siRNA fragment was transfected into breast cancer cells to alter its gene expression. The MTT assay and flow cytometry … Show more

“…Indeed, ITGB1 is essential for cancer chemo-resistance and metastasis mediated by aberrant actin-bundling protein in breast cancer stem cells [52], and its signaling foster resistance to inhibitors of HER2 and PI3K in HER2+ breast cancer [53,54]. Upregulation of ITGB2 promotes the migration and invasion in breast cancer [55].…”

“…13b, R = 0.66, P < 2.2E − 16). ITGB2-AS1 has been shown to promote migration and invasion in cancer 34 , and is known to be involved in the regulation of T-cell and B-cell activation 35 . Moreover, we identified the lncRNAs that were correlated with immune cells by CIBERSORT 36 .…”

“…High expression of MEG3 has been observed in APL patients and regulated miRNA expression in APL 12 . Furthermore, we also found some lncRNAs known to be involved in many types of solid tumors but without clear roles defined in APL, such as CRNDE [13][14][15][16] and ITGB2-AS1 17 .…”
