Local Dependence of Rise Time of Spectral Line Intensities in Ne Glow Discharge Tube

Abstract: The radial dependence of line intensities in an impulsive Ne glow discharge was investigated with particular attention being paid to the initial temporal changes of emissive line intensities. Two kinds of discharge tube, a cylindrical hollow cathode (C.H.C.) tube and a plane disk cathode (P.D.C.) tube, were used.
