Localised Corrosion Protection of Aluminium Components by atmospheric Pressure Plasma Polymerisation

Abstract: Vorbehandlung: Durch die Anwendung der AD-Plasmavorbehandlung lässt sich der Kohlenstoffgehalt nicht gereinigter Aluminiumbleche bis auf den Gehalt der natürlichen Adsorbatschicht reduzieren, die sich auf reinen Oberflächen bei atmosphärischer Auslagerung bildet. Dabei steigt die Dicke der Oxidschicht von ca. 4 nm bis auf ca. 7 nm. Die Oberfläche wird zudem hydrophiler und lässt sich besser benetzen.
