Abstract:The distribution of fodrin in oral precancerous lesions and squamous cell carcinoma was examined by immunoperoxidase staining. In normal mucous epithelium and leukoplakia, fodrin was localized mainly along the plasma membrane of the granular, prickle and basal cells of the mucous epithelium.
