Location of power-generation undertakings in maritime areas of the Republic of Poland in the light of current legislation

Abstract

The subject of the article is to introduce the issue of location of energetic projects on polish marineareas from the perspective of polish legal provisions that regulate this process. The authors presentadministrative decisions that entitle entrepreneurs to locate their projects on particular marineareas, specificity of these decisions and investing process, legal requirements that accompany theinvestment applications of entrepreneurs and the jurisdiction of the public authority in this matter.The aim of the article is not only to present the legal provisions on above mentioned questions butmost of all to assess them from the perspective both of state interest, understood as necessityof effective and possibly quick energetic transformation and individual interest of entrepreneurs interested in stable legal and economic surrounding.
