A pilot-application of adhesively bonded timber-concrete composite (ATCC) slab elements with prefabricated concrete parts in a school building in Germany is presented in this paper. Firstly, the concept and the relevant points of the planning process are outlined. The construction and the materials of the ATCC slab are then presented. After the introduction of a suitable calculation model for ATCC beams with discontinuous arrangement of the adhesive bond, a validation in the form of a full-scale bending test follows. Finally, the quality control concept which has been developed for this project is presented.
