“…Lee et al (2012) proposed a data model for the effective operation and maintenance of manufacturing facilities by applying the concept of the ISO 15926 Part 2 data model. During the entire plant life-cycle, design information containing three-dimensional (3D) models is used as master data (Paviot et al, 2013). In relation to this, Kim et al (2017) proposed a method of exchanging 3D plant design information using the ISO 15926 standard and developed a prototype system for loading and displaying 3D design information.…”

“…As stated in ISO 15926 Part 1 (ISO 15926-1:2004, 2004), the standard has been developed to facilitate integration of data to support the life-cycle activities and processes of process plants. However, the review of previous studies shows that most of the studies related to the ISO 15926 standard have focused on servicing reference data (Kwon et al, 2018; POSC Caesar Association 2016), exchanging specification data of equipment and materials (EPIM, 2016;Fiorentini et al, 2013;Irgens et al, 2004;Kim et al, 2011;Kwon et al, 2016), and exchanging two-dimensional (2D) and 3D model data (Jeon et al, 2013;Kim et al, 2017;Paviot et al, 2013) and that it is still difficult to find cases in which data models are proposed for linking and integrating plant 3D design, equipment and material manufacture, construction, and maintenance data, which do not fully utilize the information resources of ISO 15926.…”

“…Virtual reality (VR) methods have been applied in conjunction with the VRDOSE software tool to simulate and plan dismantling work in an environment contaminated by radioactivity [5][6][7]. The distribution dose rate can be computed with numerical calculation codes that take into account source types and locations, the geometry of the environment, and the materials' characteristics [8][9][10]. A cutting process simulation has been developed and tested for the waste from equipment and piping components [11].…”
