“…After World War II, a dam was built on the Dnieper-Bug canal allowing only occasional ship traffic (Karatayev et al 2008); still, Dikerogammarus villosus and D. haemobaphes (Eichwald, 1841) were able to reach Poland via this route around the millennium (Grabowski et al 2007b).
