Long-term experiment to study the development, interaction, and influencing factors of DEXA parameters

Abstract: Dual-energy X-ray absorption (DEXA) is commonly used to measure bone mineral density (BMD), bone mineral content (BMC), and body composition data (fat mass and lean mass) for phenotype assessment in mice. We were interested in the long-term development of BMD, BMC, lean mass, and fat mass of mice, also taking into account sex and genetic background.
