Long-Term Post-Operative Cognitive Decline in the Elderly: The Effects of Anesthesia Type, Apolipoprotein E Genotype, and Clinical Antecedents

Abstract: Cognitive dysfunction in the elderly commonly observed following anesthesia has been attributed to age-related neuronal changes exacerbated by pharmacotoxic effects.
