In our previous study, the incidence of hypothyroidism was 20.7% after 10 years of 1311 therapy and 33% after 15 to 17 years after 1311 therapy [11]. Delay in controlling hyperthyroidism is another problem in patients who cannot be treated with thionamide drugs because of adverse effects.…”
