Abstract:In this work, we investigate the long-time asymptotic behavior of the Wadati-Konno-Ichikawa equation with initial data belonging to Schwartz space at infinity by using the nonlinear steepest descent method of Deift and Zhou for the oscillatory Riemann-Hilbert problem.
