Longitudinal vaginal septum in a child: Early endoscopic resection using resectoscope

Abstract: Longitudinal Vaginal Septum (LVS) is a rare vaginal anomaly. Commonly diagnosed in post pubertal females, its presentation in childhood is rare. Traditionally, open surgical excision is usually recommended in symptomatic cases. Early endoscopic approach resection of LVS using resectoscope has been described in a child with associated Urogenital Sinus (UGS).
