Abstract: Global systems of capitalist production shape local experiences with health and disease, as well as approaches to infectious disease control. Through participants’ descriptions of health-disease experiences, I explore an alternate route for the prevention and control of mosquito-borne diseases in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, beyond a strict focus on vector control.
